So, it seems the day has finally come. Even though I am in the process of packing it still hasn’t sunk in that I am actually going. I am guessing it won’t until I am actually on the plane.

Tomorrow is going to be a bit of a mission. At 2am I am driving down to Heathrow, where my plane then leaves at 7:55am on a short trip to Madrid. The next leg is Madrid to Miami, then finally the Miami to San Pedro Sula flight will touch down around 5pm local time. Hopefully I will then be met at the airport and whisked off to the jungle camp where I’ll start working in preparation for the first wave of volunteers coming in on Friday.

Apart from that I don’t really know what is going to happen. I’ll just have to wait an see.
