For the last two summers I have worked in Honduras for a conservation project run by Operation Wallacea. While I was there the projects focused mainly on biodiversity studies, which meant that every day groups of scientists would go off into the forest looking for animals. Over the course of the projects I got the opportunity to see a menagerie of animal life ranging from gold beetles, to butterflies with transparent wings, to armour-plated snakes.
During the Christmas break I managed to put together a mini-site for some of my photos, I have only just got round to putting it online. So here it is:

A few weekends back — before it became cold and wet — we had a wicked day playing frisbee in the park. Tessa had her camera and took some cool photos, here’s one I like of me :)

Last week I headed down to Cornwall to visit the Eden Project. It was a mission to get there, but I had no idea when I would next have the opportunity to go. If you haven’t been, it’s well the trip. It’s a really interesting project; mixing together sustainable development, architecture, education and entertainment. The tropical "biome" really did remind me of the Indonesian jungle! Here are some photos.
